Deleting a version

Whenever a version is not needed anymore it is good practice to delete this version, both to safe costs as well as keeping your application clean and structured.

You can delete any desired version of the application when it is no longer required. However, you need to be sure that you have moved the tenants of the version (that you are going to delete) to the new version. 

Note: You cannot remove the version that is set as a production version.

In this documentation, we will explore steps to delete a version.

Step 1: Log in to your wildcloud account and you will be navigated to the Applications page by default.

Step 2: Click on Go To App and it will navigate you to the product page.

Note: You can also click on the application name as it will navigate you to the same window.

Step 3: Click on the version name that you want to delete.

This will navigate you to the selected version’s details page. 

Step 4: Click on the Action button and select the Delete version option to delete the particular version.

A modal window appears to confirm the action. Click on the Delete version to continue. 

Note: This may take a few minutes to delete the version.
